Fifty-nine (59) out of 405 examinees or 14.57% passed the Career Service Examination for Foreign Service Officer (CSE-FSO) conducted by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) on May 21, 2017 in nine regions.
Ma. Filonila Alcaraz from the National Capital Region (NCR) garnered the highest rating of 90.81 from this batch of hopefuls.
In light of the current state of hostility in Marawi City, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) has suspended the conduct of the Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) at the Iligan City Testing Center scheduled on August 6, 2017. The suspension covers both Professional and Sub-professional levels of the said exam.
Around 1,000 examinees are assigned to take the CSE-PPT at the Iligan City Testing Center. Majority of them comes from Marawi City.
The CSC advised all examinees affected by the said suspension to standby for further advisories on the resetting of the examination, which shall be posted on the CSC website.
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) celebrates “Dekada na ang ARTA,” after 10 years of implementation of Republic Act No. 9485 or the Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007, which was signed into law on June 2, 2007.
The ARTA aims to promote efficiency and transparency in government with regard to the manner of transacting with the public. As provided by Article II, Section 27 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution, the State shall maintain honesty and integrity in public service and shall take positive and effective measures against graft and corruption.
