CSCRO6 awards DepEd offices that met Maturity Level 2 Indicators

The Civil Service Commission Regional Office No. 6 (CSCRO6) awarded the Department of Education Regional Office No. 6 and its 18 Division Offices for meeting Maturity Level 2 Indicators in one or more Core Human Resource (HR) Systems under the Enhanced Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) in Kalibo, Aklan last June 2, 2016.Certificates of Recognition were given to the DepEd RO6 and the following Divisions: Antique, Bacolod City, Bago City, Capiz, Escalante City, Guimaras, Iloilo, Iloilo City, Negros Occidental, Sagay City, and San Carlos City. The following Revalidated DepEd Divisions were also recognized: Aklan, Cadiz City, Kabankalan City, La Carlota City, Passi City, Roxas City, and Silay City.

The PRIME-HRM is a mechanism that empowers government agencies by developing their human resource management competencies, systems, and practices towards HR excellence. Under the program, the CSC assesses the maturity level of an agency in the four HR systems: (1) Recruitment, Selection and Placement, (2) Learning and Development, (3) Performance Management, and (4) Rewards and Recognition. An agency may be classified according to four maturity levels- Transactional HRM, Process-Defined HRM, Integrated HRM, and Strategic HRM. The CSC also provides customized technical assistance and developmental interventions according to the needs of the agency.

Earlier this year, CSCRO6 also awarded 10 government offices that met Maturity Level 2 Indicators in Iloilo City.
