HAP awardees to receive up to P200,000 cash prize

Presidential or Lingkod Bayan and Dangal ng Bayan Awardees for this year’s Search for Outstanding Public Servants under the Honor Awards Program will each receive a cash prize of Php200,000 while those who bag the Pagasa Award will get a cash reward of Php100,000.

The 100% increase of the cash reward for the recipients of the 2011 HAP was approved by the Civil Service Commission pursuant to CSC Resolution No. 1100357 dated March 15, 2011.

With this good news, the CSCRO6 urges all heads of agencies and public servants to actively participate by submitting their nominations to this prestigious Search on or before March 31, 2011.

The Presidential or Lingkod Bayan, Dangal ng Bayan, and CSC Pagasa Awards are at stake to all public service exemplars. The conferment of the awards form part of the Commission’s advocacy of promoting a culture of excellence and of recognizing and rewarding women and men for outstanding work performance, contribution and superior accomplishments, or for consistent manifestation of exemplary ethical behavior in the public service.

Aside from individual nominations for the Lingkod Bayan and Pagasa Awards, group or team nominations are strongly encouraged.

Nomination forms and the enhanced program guidelines may be secured at the CSCRO6, Oñate St., Mandurriao, Iloilo City or any of its Field Offices in region 6. These can also be downloaded at www.csc.gov.ph.
