CSC opens Search for Outstanding Public Servants

The Civil Service Commission opens the 2011 Search for Outstanding Public Officials and Employees under the Honor Awards Program (HAP).

Three awards categories are at stake to public service exemplars: the Presidential or Lingkod Bayan Award, the Outstanding Public Official and Employee or the Dangal ng Bayan Award, and the CSC Pagasa Award. The conferment of the awards are part of the Commission’s advocacy of promoting a culture of excellence and of recognizing and rewarding women and men for outstanding work performance, contribution and superior accomplishments, or for consistent manifestation of exemplary ethical behavior in the public service.

The CSC urges heads of agencies and public servants to participate in the Search by submitting their nominations not later than March 31, 2011 to the CSC Regional Office No. 6, Oñate St., Mandurriao, Iloilo City or any of the CSC Field Offices in region 6. Nominations may also be submitted to the HAP Secretariat, Public Assistance and Information Office, Constitution Hills, Diliman, Quezon City.
Aside from individual nominations for the Presidential or Lingkod Bayan and the CSC Pagasa Awards, group/team nominations are also encouraged.
Nomination forms and the required documentation are contained in the 2011 Enhanced HAP Guidelines and program flyer which may be secured from the CSCRO6 or any of its Field Offices. This can also be downloaded at www.csc.gov.ph.
