CSCRO6 releases 2009 Training Calendar

The Civil Service Commission Regional Office No. 6 Human Resource Division (HRD) recently released its 2009 Training Calendar.

For the month of February, the training programs lined up include the Capability Enhancement for PRAISE and Grievance Committee Members (CAPE) in Antique and the Seminar-Workshop on Appointments Preparation and Other Personnel Actions (SWAP-OPA) in Aklan. CAPE aims to build the capabilities of PRAISE Committee and Grievance Committee members regarding awards and incentives and grievance procedures while SWAP-OPA aims to provide participants with knowledge on Civil Service Law and rules on appointments preparation and personnel action.

This March, the CSCRO6 HRD will be organizing the Essential Administrative Assistants’ Skills Training (EAST) in Negros Occidental and the Seminar-Workshop on Administrative Justice (SWAJ) in Iloilo.

Other training programs scheduled this year are the Attitude, Skills, and Knowledge Enhancement for Directors/Managers (ASKED), Basic Effective Supervision Training (BEST), Leave Administration Workshop-Seminar (LAWS), Retirement Planning Seminar (RePlan), Seminar-Workshop for the Improvement of Frontline Transactions (SWIFT), Seminar-Workshop on Empowerment of Public Sector Unions (SW-EPSU), Seminar-Workshop for Personnel Board Members (SW-PSB), and Work Ethics in the Bureaucracy (WEB).

The CSCRO6 HRD also offers the Distance Learning Program on Republic Act 6713 (Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees), a six-week take home course equivalent to 40 training hours.
